Ruby Thelma McCormack was born in McMinnville, TN, USA. She came to Canada at the age of eight, eventually settling in Calgary where she remained her entire life. She excelled at crocheting, knitting and sewing and was always ready for a game of Bridge or Whist. Her greatest joy was her family whom she loved dearly and in her final years, treasured photos brought her many happy memories. Ruby was the Matriarch of the family and will be forever loved and sorely missed. Ruby is survived by daughters, Lois Belter and Ellen (Bill) Gugins; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren; a brother Branchford (Winnie) McCormack; and a sister Lucile Otterstratter; plus many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Alan Sherry; a daughter Joan; a grandson Gregg; and her second husband Joseph Lemieux.
