Obituary of Margaret Alice Deines

Margaret Alice Deines, beloved wife of Alvin for sixty-five years, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Margaret was a native Calgarian. She met and married the love of her life Alvin when she was seventeen years old. Margaret was dedicated to her family and enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains and at the “Ranch” hiking, fishing, bird watching and identifying flowers. She also enjoyed the many winter trips to Maui. Besides her loving husband Alvin, Margaret is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Del Fitzsimmons of Calgary, and Gwen and Peter Fargey of Edmonton; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by her sister Lillian Dirrane, brother and sister-in-law, Syd and Marilynne Keen, all of Calgary; as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held at Elbow Valley Residents Club (100 Misty Morning Drive S.W.) on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
