Obituary of Patricia Anne REED

REED, Patricia Anne (nee Donohoe) January 5, 1927 – March 3, 2016 Patricia Anne Reed died peacefully at the age of 89 years on March 3, 2016. Patricia was born on January 5, 1927 in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan and spent her growing up years in the small hamlet of Douglas, just outside of Brandon, Manitoba. Patricia received her degree in nursing at the University of Western Ontario. She then moved west to Langley Prairie, British Columbia to work and as well met her husband B. Vincent Reed of 60 years, now deceased. Patricia and family lived in Regina, Saskatchewan for 18 years before moving to Calgary in 1974. Patricia was a very happy homemaker and had a love of sports including curling, cross country skiing, biking, hiking and swimming. She was also a very accomplished piano player and enjoyed everything from pop to classical. She will be sadly missed by her oldest son David (Datsie), daughter-in-law Leigh Ann (husband Tom deceased) and daughter Kathryn. She has four grandchildren Lelland, Gerald Reed, Maury Landry and Kaile Landry and her children Abigale and Theodore Cantwell. Many thanks to the medical staff on Unit 36 at the Foothills Medical Centre, Rockyview General Hospital, Bethany Care Centre and Fanning Care Centre.
