Obituary of Heath F. GORDON

1925 – 2015 Passed away on March 5, 2015, survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marty. Also survived by his children Heather (Glen), Bruce (Jan), Sandra, and Ross (Brigitte); grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well his brother John (Jenny). Predeceased by his grandson Kyle Faas. Heath was a teacher when he met Marty, and they taught together in Patricia, Alberta. They married in 1949, and Heath moved into the oil business where he was very successful. Heath was a Shriner for many years in the Flag Patrol. He and Marty especially enjoyed Scottish country dancing, and were active in both St. Barnabas and St. Giles groups. A long time member of the Anglican Church, Heath served on Vestry and was a Church Warden. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church (3602 – 8th Street S.W.) on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
