Obituary of Rodney Fleming ANDERSON

ANDERSON, Rodney Fleming April 19, 1931 – Hamiota, Manitoba February 13, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta Rod Anderson, beloved husband of Mary Anderson (nee Logan) of Calgary, passed away on February 13, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Rod started his working years in Winnipeg, moving to Calgary in 1956. He joined the Alberta Wheat Pool in 1959 until his retirement in 1990. In 1976 he received his degree in accounting. Rod loved his gardening and was involved with The Calgary Rose Society. He was also involved with the 31 Scout Group, Senior’s Skating and The Graduates and Friendship Groups of St. David’s United. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary and their son, Robert, of Calgary; his sister-in-law Grace Anderson of Hamiota MB; four cousins, two nephews, five nieces and their families. Rod was predeceased by his parents, Clare and Margaret Anderson; and his brother, John Lorimer Anderson. Funeral Services will be held at St. David’s United Church (3303 Capitol Hill Cres.
