Obituary of Susan Patricia MOFFATT

November 20, 1950 – Poynton, Stockport, England
November 6, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Susan Moffatt, beloved wife of Martin Moffatt of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the age of 68 years.

Sue worked for Health Administration before retiring. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, dress making. Sue loved reading and home making. Her biggest passion was looking after her husband. Some of her most memorable vacations were trips back to England visiting with family, and spending time with her grandchildren of whom she adored.

She will be most remembered for her love, loyalty, friendship, integrity, and great personality. 

All I ever wanted in this life
Was for you to be my beautiful wife
I have cried every day since You went away
Wondering how I could make You stay.
I think about You every minute everyday
You were so great in every way.
You looked so pretty and smelled so nice
I got very lucky when I rolled the dice.
How Lucky was I to have You here
I always smiled when You were near
You certainly blessed my life with love and joy.

Besides her loving husband, Martin, Sue is survived by her loving Mum Doreen Lawton, her sister Gillian Lawton, her children, Paul Finney (Helen Finney) and Matthew Finney (Helen Scott) of the United Kingdom; her grandchildren, Rose Finney, Benjamin Finney, Amelia Finney, and Sebastian Finney; and her step-daughter, Lyndsey Daly. She will also be missed by her German Shepard, Madison. A day will not go by when you are not in our hearts and minds love always your family.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
