Obituary of Rodger Baxter BANDERK

November 8, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Rodger Baxter Banderk, beloved husband of Peggy Banderk, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the age of 72 years.

He was an outdoor enthusiast who could often be found in the mountains, hiking, skiing, and breaking new trails. Rodger was a devoted husband and father, and a special joy in his life was spending time with his grandchildren. 

Besides his loving wife Peggy, Rodger is survived by his sons, Dave (Lindsay) and Brian (Julie); grandchildren, Blake, Kaleb, and Orin; as well as numerous relatives and friends. 

Rodger was predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Baxter Banderk.

At Rodger’s request, there will be no service. A Private Family Gathering will be held at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
