Steven James Faas of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the age of 50 years.

Steven was born in Calgary, AB, and lived here all his life. He graduated in 1988 from Sir Winston Churchill High School. He attended the University of Calgary for one year, and then went to work at Amoco Canada Petroleum. He later held many other jobs in the oil industry in Calgary as an IT Specialist. Steven loved horses and trained in equestrian dressage. He had a great love for Shakespearian plays and studied them for pleasure most of his life. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. 
 
Steven is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Margaret Faas, his brother Kevin and his wife Elisabeth, and nephew Morgan Faas. He’s also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
