Obituary of Edward HILLIS

Meaford, Ontario

November 22, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Edward Hillis, beloved husband of Margaret, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the age of 77 years.

Edward accomplished much through his life and was particularly proud of being a husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. Edward had a passion for building things, research projects and beta testing for several companies.

He will be most remembered for his favorite sayings: “It doesn’t take much to make another person smile”, “There is never a cloud without a silver lining.”, and “This to shall pass”.

Besides his loving wife, Edward is survived by his sister, seven children, fifteen grandchildren, and seven great- grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
