Condolences
Rest in Peace Aunty Joan - when I was a child, I got to watch cable TV at your place, and it was awesome. Thanks for the memories.
My Mom was the best person I know through and through all things we went traveling , she defended my beliefs from skipping school in kindergarten to high school . From mean bullies to dipstick boyfriends . She loved sports , loved crafts she was amazing at fixing almost anything , she had a great attitude even during Parkinson’s and always enjoyed dressing up for Stampede and CBC breakfasts , my mom LOVED MUSIC AND HUMOUR SAME AS me we agreed with out either no point being here ! She never judged me always supported helped in any way just love her so much , it’s the hardest part was not being able to visit last week instead there to say goodbye . Totally upset miss her like crazy thanks for all your wonderful things said in here , love you momma bear you are an epic example of awesome and missed every second love your daughter Jasanna xoxo
Joan was my big sister, she was an inspiration and strong women that I looked up to, we played in the snow behind our house sliding in an old car hood, we had a blast, we used to tease her a lot as she was the first to have a boy friend. She always looked out for my sister and I. I am broken hearted to lose her, our family reunions will never be the same, I miss and love you Joan, you will be forever in my heart
My deepest sympathy to Bill, her daughter’s, stepson’s and grandchildren.
Joan got me a part-time job working with her at Bellisima. A clothing store in Chinook Cente. I also worked with her at CBC. She was a lovely person!
I moved back to Calgary for the third time in August. Shortly after I had a nice visit with Joan catching up! We had a good visit for a couple of hours. She made some delicious cookies to go with our coffee. I was wowed looking at her beautiful yard! She was a fantastic lady. May God Bless her and give her family strength during this difficult time.
