SECOURS, Paul Emile

December 14, 1926 – November 29, 2019

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of  Paul Secours of Calgary, AB, he passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the age of 92 years.

He was a kind soul; quiet, gentle, generous man with a heart of gold. A beloved husband of fifty years and a wonderful father. Paul taught us many life lessons including be calm it will take you a long way. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his positive attitude and outlook on life.

Paul was born and raised on the family farm in Fournier, ON. Of his nine siblings he was the only one to venture and settle in Western Canada. He married Ann Zlatner on June 18, 1956. Paul worked in the construction industry starting as a labourer and ending his career as a foreman for a sucessful concrete company.  With his wife by his side he enjoyed travelling, camping, playing cards, and lets not forget casinos.

Paul was predeceased by his loving wife Ann; parents, Isaide and Dosithee; as well as two brothers and seven sisters, Aurore, Rodolphe, Alice, Annette, Berthe, Lucien, Antoinette, Marie Blanche and Rita.

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Sherry (Fruch) Pagnotta and Melody (Bill) Choboter; his beloved granddaughters, Alecia and Kayla Pagnotta; and other close family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
