Kelsey Andrea Baptiste, was called home by our Creator on Monday, December 30, 2019, at the age of 30 years, beloved mother to Jacob and Kylen Jr.

Kelsey was brought up in both traditional and western culture. She loved her sons deeply and would go to the ends of the earth for them. Her Iyethka Nakoda culture was very dear to her ever beautiful spirit and attending many gatherings and teaching her sons the value of the teachings of said culture. Attending school in Exshaw, Morley, and Eden Valley she continued her education at Bow Valley College in Calgary. She had a heart of gold like no other, if and when someone needed help, she opened up her home and her heart to anyone. Humble and kind, she was known for her soft smile and her sense of humour. Beautiful both inside and out, she always talked about becoming a mechanic and had such passion for her favorite hip hop rapper Tupac Shakur. She was accepting of everyone and was always putting others before herself.

Besides her loving partner Kylen, Kelsey is survived by her parents, Eva and Van; brother Jace, sisters, Shelly (Ken), Sharon, Kimberly, Sonya, and Deanna; adoptive brothers, Ollin (Karlon), Wacey, Eric, and Ira; adoptive sisters, Lynel (Derrick), Lindsay and partner, Chunguhn (Steve), Roxanne (Allie), Tuffy (Brian), Destiny, and Lillian; nieces, Kara, Travina (George), Ganita (Nathan), Nicole (Johnny), Shayné (Blaze), Kitana, and Kaitlyn, Michel, Jordyn; nephews, Kyle, Joshua, Tyler, Kadence, Cordy, Taylien, Tristan, Jade (Alisha), Silas (Tamsyn), Jonas, Honky, Ty, Jaiylin, Rudy (Ruby), Kenton (Sephora); aunties, Mina (Charles), Florence (Bruce), Christine; uncles, Ollie (Lainey), Elliott, and Lawrence; and granddaughter Aurora.
