Obituary of Maria BAKOS

Maria Bakos, beloved wife of Geza Bakos of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the age of 72 years.

Maria was born in Sarisap, Hungary on January 25, 1947. She immigrated to Canada in 1999 and promptly married Geza. Maria accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of being a teacher for over thirty years.  Maria thoroughly enjoyed her family.  She will be most remembered for her laugh, kindness and love for her family.

Besides her loving husband, Maria is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Csaba, and Zsòfia and Istvan of Hungary; her step-daughter and son-in-law, Piroshka and Dale of Singapore; her six grandchildren, Laszlò, Bence, Rebeka, Tamara, Fruzsina, and Orsolya; her three step-grandchildren, Grace, Ruby and Isabel; and two great-grandchildren, Luca and Zorka. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Mihaly and Katalin, and her sister Roszi of Hungary. Maria was predeceased by her first husband Fözö Boldizsar.
