Obituary of Pearl PONTAROLO (Severtson)

July 20, 1930 – Travers, Alberta
February 6, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Pearl Pontarolo of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the age of 89 years surrounded by her family.

She will be forever remembered by her two daughters, Susan Goldade (Bill), Connie Cooke (Kelly); her two sons, Bob Severtson (Shelley), Jim Severtson; her eight grandchildren, Jessica (Mike), Jeremy (Anne), Amber, Brad (Kelly), Cody (Roxanne), Jennifer, Chandler, Lindsay; and seven great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her sister Myrt Craig, and her two brothers Abe Dubland (Helen) and Harold Dubland (Donna); her extended family, Donna (Raymond) Macdonald, Rod (Gail), Blaine (Marion), Kevin Pontarolo and their families. Pearl also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by husband Alf Severtson (1975) and Ernest Pontarolo (2002); parents Ole and Petra Dubland; brother Olaf; and sisters, Marie Bell and Elsie McClain.

Pearls passion for life was infectious and she left an impression on everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all.

Due to the current health crisis and to protect family and friends, the family of Pearl Pontarolo are postponing her Celebration of Life that was to take place on Saturday March 21, 2020 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Lethbridge.  We will schedule a Celebration at a later date and appreciate your understanding.
