Obituary of Karin Ingeborg Ursula CHAKRAVORTY

February 6, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Karin Chakravorty (nee Warmuth) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the age of 82 years.

Karin would have won the "best supporting actress" award in the Chakravorty family. Behind the scenes, and intensely private, Karin was the glue that held everything together, and kept everybody on course. Underneath her immensely practical exterior was a huge and generous heart, and limitless love that she shared with a fortunate chosen few. Mother, wife, grandmother, nurse; Karin will be deeply missed.

Karin is survived by her children, Anita, and Jason; and grandchildren, Winston, Jacob, and Madison. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Aseem Chakravorty in 2019.
