Obituary of William (Bill) Eugene CHORNEYKO

March 27, 1950 – Kamsack, Saskatchewan

February 13, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

William Eugene (Bill) Chorneyko passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the age of 69 years.

Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years Kathy, his daughters Teresa Gordon (John) and Michele Barden (Edwyn) and grandchildren Kale, Meagan and Maryn. 

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Pearl Chorneyko (nee Minchuk); and sisters, Cornelia Wells (nee Chorneyko) and Marion Chorneyko.

Bill was born in Kamsack, SK, on March 27, 1950. He graduated from JT Foster High School in Nanton, AB.  Bill joined the Canadian Armed Forces, serving proudly for twenty-two years. He then worked with AMA as a tow truck driver and finally with Foremost and Standen's as a heavy-duty mechanic. Bill had a passion for hunting, fishing and building models.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at a later date.
