Obituary of Olive (Jo) Jahala CURRIE (nee Ellefson)

March 11, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Olive (Jo) Jahala Currie of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the age of 93 years.

For those who knew Jo, she will be forever remembered as a nurse, professor, colleague, mentor, genealogist, and volunteer. 

Jo is survived by two sons, Shaune C. (Katie) and Shaene B., all of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by her pride and joy grandson, Erick Joseph. She was predeceased by her husband Sid in 2010 and her infant son Laune in 1955.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at the Urn Visitation held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, March 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
