Obituary of Barbara Cynthia McKINNA (nee Foreman)

February 12, 1927 – Kingston, Jamaica
March 15, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Barbara McKinna, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the age of 93 years, with her daughter by her side.

Barbara was born and raised in Jamaica, and was working in the bank in Kingston when she met her soon to be husband, Colin. They married in 1960, and eventually moved to Winnipeg, MB, to live and start a family.  Barbara enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, weekends at La Riviere, traveling, entertaining, and was a wonderful cook.  Barbara and her husband retired to Victoria, BC. They loved winters in Palm Springs, and loved to cruise. They both had a long wonderful life. 

Barbara is survived by her daughter Alison. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Colin, five months ago, and her daughter Catherine, nine years ago.
