Obituary of Keith Sherman KOOTENAY

May 28, 2020 – Morley, Alberta

It is with extreme sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Keith Sherman Kootenay, on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the age of 57years. Keith was a kind humble man who had many passions that included firefighting, training horses, mechanics, fencing, rodeo, saddlebronc, restoring classic cars, and listening to country and classic rock music.

Keith is survived by his four brothers, Terry (Margaret), Travis, Quinton, and Yvan (Linda); four sisters, Rosie, Yolanda (Floyd), Tamra,Leona, and Winnie; paternal aunt and uncle, Mary-Jean (Dallon), Felix (Wanda), Marvalen, Frank, Irby, Everett, Jackson (Brenda), Madeline, Rebecca, Vern (Beverley), John; maternal aunts and uncles, Kathleen and Clarice, and Joey (Lavern) and Lawrence; close and special cousins, Rodrick, Fred, Vair, Conrad, Greg, and Haven. Keith is also survived by numerous cousins, aunties, uncles, and friends. He will also be missed by family in Edenvalley, Maskwacis, and Bighorn.We apologize if we have missed anyone.

Keith was predeceased by his son, Tyler August K.; father, Gordon HB; mother, Viola K.; brothers, Narvil K. and Leland Kelly K.; uncle, John and Nat HB, auntie, Helen B.; paternal grandparents, Nat and Gertrude HB.; maternal grandparents, Joe and Mary K. Jr’s, and Florence and Paul D. Sr.; great grandparents, Tatâga Mânî Walking Buffalo and Flora.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of the Late Keith Kootenay (Morley, AB) on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.  Funeral Services will be held at the residence of the Late Keith Kootenay(Morley, AB) on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Dixon Cemetery (Morley, AB).  Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Keith’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
