Obituary of Catherine Mae JORGENSON

January 4, 1936 –Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan

June 10, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Catherine Jorgenson (nee Murray) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the age of 84 after a valiant struggle with Parkinson’s disease.

Cathy lived her adult life mostly in Calgary with many winters in Mesa, AZ.  She had a passion for music and was a great conversationalist. She loved her time spent with family the most and she will be greatly missed.

Cathy is survived by her children, Shane Jorgenson (Velda) and Shelley Adams (Barry); granddaughters, Maddie, Kim(Matt), Kelsey and Victoria; and great-granddaughters, Bella, Katie and Rosie; brother Ron Murray(Donna) and sister, Lynn Phillips. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gordon Jorgenson and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
