Obituary of Audrey Jean PRIOR (nee Brown)

November 7, 1924 – Montreal, Quebec
July 9, 2020 – Cochrane, Alberta

After a wonderful life, our Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2020. Our family is comforted to know that she now joins our Dad, her beloved Lorne, who predeceased her in 1998.

Mom was very social and enjoyed golfing, bowling, bridge and any opportunity to join friends for a lunch date. She attended services and bible study at Lakeview United Church and was a proud Rotary Partner with the Calgary South Club. 

A homemaker by choice, she was a caring and supportive Mom who loved and was loved by her daughter Susan, her son Rick and daughter-in-law Lesley; her grandchildren Ashleigh (Curtis), Scott, and Laura (Matt); her great-grandchildren Rachel, Taylor, and Case; and her four-legged child, her Yorkie Maddie. 

If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to Pastoral Care, Lakeview United Church, 3023 63 Ave SW, Calgary, AB. T3E 5J6.

We have many happy memories to sustain us but she will be dearly missed.

Our family will celebrate her life in a private funeral at a later date.
