Condolences
I met Aunty Maureen when I was 10, an age where most young boys are finding themselves or their purpose. She helped me get through one of the most difficult period in my life and I kept wishing for the 22 years after that to find a way to repay her. All I can do now, is just to hope I do the same in my lifetime for someone else, big heart and great example, she will be forever missed!!!
I give my condolences to the entire family & lots of love!
OMW Steven, Laura and Tess super sad news. Only heard now. I have some awesome pics of our time in Canada with Aunty Maureen and your Dad. We were treated like royalty and were taken all around Vancouver. My special memory was our trip to LA CONNER in Washington. Sad goodbye to one special Lady. Aunty Maureen RIP.
Sincerest Condolences to the whole family.
With fond memories of times spent together when I was younger. I remember your gentleness and generosity of time . How exciting it was to get phone calls from you, irrespective of where we were in the world. May your memory remain eternal and your legacy live on in your children and grandchildren. Rest In Peace . Nan was always there for me, from lending an ear when needed, or teaching me how to drive, I could always count on her. It’s weird to think she won’t be around anymore when that was a source of peace for me over the years, knowing exactly where I could find her. Nan influenced a lot of my current interests from classic Hollywood Glamour to films to music, things I will always carry with me and attribute to our relationship. She was a tough woman but she contributed to the current discipline I possess and I thank her for it. If anything a good example of traits I need to pass on to my kids and grandchildren when they come. I’m going to miss my Nan dearly.
