Condolences
How I will miss my dear friend, Luella. I grew up knowing her Father well. He was our minister and a close friend of my family. I met Luella when I moved to Calgary in 1970, and we developed a close friendship. When I moved in 1993 to Vancouver Island, we continued that friendship with many phone calls and visits when possible. We had our funny stories that we re-created as time went by and they provided us with many laughs. She was so special.
I know that as a family, you will miss her so much, but she has left everyone with memories of an amazing woman.

Condolences on the loss of a dear, kind person. Dad, Reg Watt, so enjoyed his travels with her. My daughter Katharine adored Luella, and we all cared deeply for her. She will be missed.

To all the members of Lou’s family, our sincere condolences to all of you. I fondly remember Lou’s visits to Souris. She was a classy lady. Lou and mom had a great friendship for many years after meeting in nursing school. I’m sure they are meeting again and raising a glass. Sincerely Lorraine Couling nee Hale
Many fond memories of growing up in Kingsland and living across the street from the Moirs! Mrs. Moir was kind, generous, fun, welcoming, and wise. I remember the neighborhood ladies dressing in costume to celebrate their birthdays! There were many practical jokes- drafting a notice from the police to warn my father about making his own beer, filling Mrs. Moir's VW bug full of vegetables from neighborhood gardens. Her kindness and compassion continued through her regular contact with her former neighbours! Sincere condolences to the family.

Sincere sympathy to all of you on the passing of this lovely lady. Aunt Lou was beautiful inside and out and we remember what fun she was to be with. Thankfully her time of being unwell was short. You will all miss her strong presence. Love and caring thoughts from you Manitoba cousins: Clare & Agnes, Heather and Cameron Moir and families
