With profound sadness and joyful memories, the family of Leola Greckol shares her passing on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the age of 77 years.

Leola and Nick were married shortly after she graduated from Alberta College in 1962. She also enjoyed working as a receptionist in a medical clinic. Leola was an excellent cook and loved camping, fishing, golfing, knitting and day trips in the country with a cup of Timmie’s. She and Nick spent many happy years together and were looking forward to celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary on August 11 of this year. Leola was a devoted and generous wife, mother, grandmother, friend and pet parent and was happiest among family.

Leola is survived by her loving husband Nick, her three children Louella (Rob), Laureen (David), Neil (Miki); and two grandchildren Gerrit Scheffel (Chelsea) and Tyler Scheffel (Alicia). She is predeceased by infant son Murray, and parents Tony and Helen Volk.
