Mary Bell Lawson of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the age of 86 years.

 

Mary Bell was born in Edmonton but moved to Calgary as a young child where she lived out the rest of her life. She was a graduate of the Provincial Institute of Technology and Art in Calgary and was employed in drafting and surveying in her younger years. She was also an avid golfer and skier and remembered her times at Sunshine Village as some of the happiest days of her life. 

 

Mary Bell is survived by her nephew Jerry Lawson of Weeki Wachee, FL and nieces, Leslie Lawson Leathers of Waynesville, NC, Lorelei Lawson Yerse of Clyde, NC and Lila Lawson Beehler of Kodiak, AK. She was predeceased by her father James Duncan Lawson of Grantown-on-Spey, Scotland, her mother Mabel Buckle of Yorkton, SK, and her brother, Donald Grant Lawson, of Yorkton, SK.
