Obituary of Lance Eli RIDER

Lance Eli Rider was called home by our Creator on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the age of 33 years.

Lance will be remembered for his quiet, gentle and kind disposition. Lance will be missed by his many friends in Calgary, where he lived a humble life. 

Lance is survived by his aunties, Gloria Rider, Valerie Rider, Dianne Ridsdale; his grandmothers, Gwen Rider and Lavina Brown; father; uncles, Bruce Wesley-Beaver and Bruce Labelle; sister Angela Rider (Kerri); his siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins and many other relatives in the Fox and Rider families. Also Hunter, Rabbit, Powderface, Labelle, Wesley Beaver, Bigcrow families, and relatives from Tsuut’ina and Maskcwacis First Nations. The family apologize if they have missed anyone. 

Lance was predeceased by his mother Annette Rider, grandmother Rita Rider, grandfather Johnny Labelle, paternal grandfather, also many relatives who passed before Lance.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Gloria Rider (Morley, AB) on Friday, August 28, 2020.  Funeral Services will be held at the residence of Gloria Rider (Morley, AB) on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 12:00 p.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB).  Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Lance’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
