Obituary of Stacey Leah YELLOW WING (Black Horse)

July 6, 1989 – August 24, 2020

Stacey Yellow Wing of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at the age of 31 years. Our beautiful Stacey, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are now with your daddy and loved ones, may you rejoice with The Angels.

Stacey will be dearly missed by her mother and best friend Delphine Black Horse, her brothers, Tyson, Mario(Kim), Sonny and Christian; aunties, Norvena (Stan), Marcia, and Della (Jerome); auntie/mom Marisa (Danny); uncles, Leonard (Rhoda), Kirk (Lorna), Kelly, Clint and Mike; traditional sisters, Sherry and Tracy; childhood sisters, Brooke B. H., Nellie L. Light, and Lillian Pard; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved unconditionally. Stacey was predeceased by her daddy John Yellow Wing - Little Light, grandparents, Wendy Little Light and John Yellow Wing Sr. Leonard and Marina Black Horse; cousins, Bronco, Jason, Jodi, Bradley, Jeffray, baby Jewlz and baby Joshua, Mariah, Einar Jr.; aunties, Vivian and Lenora; and special friend Criss-anne Wright; sisters-in-law Larissa Knife and Christa Cachene.

Stacey was known for her laughter, her big heart and compassionate soul. She was a very outgoing person. She loved music and getting dolled up and taking a million pictures.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Marisa Black Kettle, Siksika Nation, AB, on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
