Obituary of Arlene CRAATS (nee Schuh)

June 25, 1947 – Medicine Hat, Alberta
September 1, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Arlene Craats on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the age of 73 years.

Arlene was an avid golfer, was obsessed with the possibility of aliens coming to Earth, and loved to cheer on the kids whether at school concerts or at the rink, field, or gym. She loved wholeheartedly and selflessly, and she was always there for those she loved through the good times and the bad. Despite the challenges of the past few years, Arlene continued to share her humour and strength with all of us and it is hard to imagine a world, a day, without her.
 
Rest well, Arlene. We will always love you.

Her big laugh, kind words and fierce loyalty will be sorely missed by her daughters, Rennay (Bryce) and Rhonda (Rob); her grandchildren, Carmen, Ben and Penny; her sister Karon (Brian); numerous cousins in England, nieces and nephews, and friends.
