Obituary of Rosita Anne ELLIOTT

April 10, 1941– Nottingham, England
September 2, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Rosita Elliott of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the age of 79 years.

Rita worked as an accountant at Pan Canadian.  She volunteered with The Back Door, Ronald McDonald House and the Food Bank.  She was also very involved with St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, she sang in the ladies choir and volunteered with her many friends at different church events. 

Rita accomplished a lot in her life but what she was most proud of was her family, particularly, the light of her life, her two grandchildren.  

Rita is survived by her husband Paul Elliott; two sons, Andrew Paul Elliott of Calgary and Mark John Elliott (Tracy Sutherland) of Red Deer; her daughter Susan (Paul) Ladouceur of Calgary; and her grandchildren, Holly and Tanner Elliott.  She is survived by her three sisters, Linda, Pat and Alice.

Rita was predeceased by her brother David; sister Gwen, and mother Lucy Rossington.

The family would like to thank the staff of Unit 73 and Unit 93 at Rockyview General Hospital for their caring and kindness during her last two weeks.  The family also appreciates the many kind words from her friends at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
