Obituary of Isabella GALETTA

April 26, 1935 – Montoro, Italy February 13, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Isabella Galetta, of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Isabella was born in Montoro, Italy, and immigrated to Canada in 1959. She started out in the dry-cleaning industry, and later owned and operated her own business. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her son, Frank; Antonietta (Joseph, Michael, Melanie); and daughters, Lina; Guy (Brandon, Miranda; Ted and Declan) and Laura; John (Matthew, Kyle, Christopher, Isabella). She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Giuseppe Galetta, in 2009. Isabella was also predeceased by her sister, Maria, and is survived by her twin sister, Angelina, and younger sister Carolina. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 – 24th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the church.
