Obituary of Richard NEWITT

It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of an amazing man, Richard Newitt on Monday, September 21, 2020 at the age of 47 years.

Rick spent his professional life in the tire business helping customers, friends and family “wheel” around life. His laid back attitude and smiling face was known to everyone. He was also known to be the life of any party or hockey tournament.

Rick was very much a family man. He passed on his passion of baseball, golf, hockey and going to rodeos to his boys. He could always be found at the corner of the rink cheering the boys on with his best friend, his dad by his side.

Rick was a loving husband to Tammy, amazing dad to Colton and Easton, son and best friend to Murray (Marilynne), brother to Grant (Shawn ), Amanda, uncle to Jagr, Kyleigh, Declyn, and Jax; special nephew to Art ( Kelly); son-in-law to Joyce. He is also survived by many other family members and friends and daddy’s girl, Oreo cookie. He was predeceased by his mother (Diane).
