Obituary of Kristy CLARK

Kristy Clark beloved wife of Gerald Jay Clark of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 at the age of 90 years.

Kristy was born and raised in Magrath, AB, on the farm with her parents, Frank and Ethel Miller, her brother Ken, sister Leitha and twin sister Mary Jean. Kristy married her love, Gerald Clark, on July 16, 1959.

Kristy was a woman of many talents. She spent her life in the pursuit of new knowledge and skills.  She was often taking classes to learn something new which ranged from things like, flower arranging to graphoanalysis. She was especially known for her cooking skills, and had self-published a cookbook with a friend that had two printings. She passed those cooking skills on to her children and grandchildren by taking the time to teach them the basics of good cooking. Kristy was also a very prolific painter.  She loved to paint in oil and acrylic and the subject of her painting was often flowers. This artwork is such a symbol of her and we are lucky to have that legacy. She spent most of her life raising her three children but worked as a bookkeeper and at Mount Royal University in the finance department for a few years.  She was a very thrifty woman and was always tucking money away for a rainy day. This allowed her and Gerry to retire at a young age and have a very comfortable lifestyle in their final years.

Kristy has struggled since her husband passed away almost two years ago and has wanted to be reunited with him ever since. She is now on to the next phase of her journey and was so looking forward to being reunited with her family. We love you, will miss you, and wish you peace and happiness

Kristy is survived by her daughter Kim Busch, her two sons, Corbin Clark, and  Jace Clark; granddaughters, Hailey Busch and Paige Colle (Justin) and her beloved great-grandson Cashton Colle. She was predeceased by all of her family.
