Condolences
We send our sincerest condolences to the De Luca and De Petrillo families. We apologize for our tardiness in forwarding our condolences but with COVID-19 happening and the fact that we reside in Toronto On we were not made aware of Maria’s passing. Carmine and I share the family tree by being first cousins. During our youth we shared a lot of good and fun times. Alas like so many things it all comes to an end. I also want to congratulate you for putting together a very nice video.

Ernesto and Carmela De Luca
Dear De Luca and De Petrillo families, please accept my most sorrowful and heartfelt condolences for the loss of Maria, and also that of Carm. From my incredibly privileged involvement with your families, sharing the memories and life-moments and wisdoms of your parents / grandparents, Guido and Giuseppina, I treasure my own most loving memories . I remember Maria not only for her profound devotion to and care of her parents, but for her own wisdom, beauty, humour, and strength. I know she was a tower of all that to the whole family and that her loss is irreparable. Sending you love and courage, and abbracci forti e tenerissimi. A presto - Susan Kastner.

Doreen Hockley.
We have had the great pleasure of spending time with Maria at family celebrations over the years, and our most immediate recollection is of the warm greeting we received each time we saw her. Maria cared about others and when she asked questions about your life - she listened with great interest to every detail. It was evident through stories shared, that Maria adored her children and took every opportunity to show her love and affection - we especially enjoyed hearing about the family trips to Las Vegas and her first visit to see Marisa & Matthias in Germany.
We are deeply sorry for your loss and will be thinking of your family during this difficult time.
With love,
Jamie, Shelley, Celeste, and Harrison
