Obituary of David John GLENN

June 5, 1941 – Lestock, Saskatchewan January 27, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta John Glenn, beloved husband of Jacqueline Glenn of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the age of 76 years. John worked in sales at Westeel when first transferred from Saskatoon to Calgary in 1971. Commercial Real Estate Broker for about 10 years with Foothills Developments, and recently with Realcorp through Altacom Management. He liked classic cars especially is his own car a 1992 Mercedes Benz. He was interested in watching hockey and football games and loved to spend time in his garden. John was a proud member of Kinsmen Club of Calgary. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of South Calgary Campus and Foothills Hospitals. John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jacqueline; his son, J.D. (Denise); his daughter, Shawna (Jack); his grandchildren, Kalin (Twyla), Hayden, Makayla, and Logan; his sisters, Mavis (Percy) Reuther, Marjorie (Jack) Brice, and Morgan (Norm) Hazledine; and numerous other family members and friends. John was predeceased by his sisters, Anna McKenzie and Marian Glenn; his brother, Bob Glenn; and his parents. GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED AND A CURE WAS NOT TO BE SO HE PUT HIS ARMS AROUND YOU AND WHISPERED, “COME TO ME”. A GOLDEN HEART STOPPED BEATING, HARD WORKING HANDS AT REST.
