Obituary of Verneshia (Big Girl) Corvelline DIXON

April 17, 1993 – Calgary, Alberta
October 22, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and friend, Verneshia (Big Girl) Corvelline Powderface-Dixon on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the age of 27 years.

She had a beautiful smile, and a heart of gold. A quiet spiritual side of her was so special and created many friendships. Doesn’t matter who that person is, she was taught to have respect for others and help out in any way she could. She received her education at the Morley School. She enjoyed listening to music, and had a great sense of humour and enjoyed joking around with relatives and friends. In her spare time she liked to hang around with her mom and sisters. She would take time to cuddle, hug, and guide her four beautiful nephews, Cruz Dixon , Kaiston Rider, Cimeron and Tucker Holloway. She was a loving, compassionate and honest person. Big Girl would never ask for money for her way of life. One of her best friends was her cousin Sarah Dixon.

Big Girl, we know you are no longer in pain and loneliness and have joined those gone on before, especially Dad Orville “B” Powderface.

Verneshia is survived by her mother Evelyn, sisters, Evandra, Tyleena, Jaylana, Triana, and Kayden; her brother Kaleb, Aunties, Sabrina and Cynthia; special Aunt Deanna (Charles) Wesley, Aunties Olivia Twoyoungmen, Francine(Anthony) Bearspaw, Chantel (Billy) Heavyrunner, Uncles  Alvin F  Dixon,  Jesse Dixon, Watson JR.
