Obituary of Marshall Lyndon POUCETTE

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, grandpa, nephew, cousin, and friend, Marshall Poucette. He was called home by our Creator on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the age of 55 years. 

Marshall was a kind, quiet, humble, humorous, respectable person. He received his education at Morley School and his firefighting certificate, which enabled him to fight wildfires ten years ago. In his younger years he took part in bareback riding school in Olds, AB, and rodeo-d for awhile. His fondest memories were on the Taotha trail ride from Yaha Tinda to Abraham Lake. 

Marshall is survived by his loving mother Norma, sisters, Miranda, Flora, and Tracey Mark, whom he grew up with in their early years; brothers, Andrew, Leon (Doyletta), Reynard (Sharon), Eldon (Jackie), Stewart Ownchief; aunties, Doreen, Debbie, and Maisie Poucette, Tina and Mary Fox; uncles, David Poucette, Glen Simeon, JR (Pauline) Twoyoungmen; numerous extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; as well as relatives from the Mark, Young, Simeon, Powderface, Poucette, Twoyoungmen, Fox, Labelle, and Kaquitts families. We apologize if we have missed anyone. 

Marshall was predeceased by his father Charlie Simeon Jr., brother Darren, aunties, Vera Mark, Doris Poucette, Yvonne Poucette, Clarabelle Fox, Barbara Simeon; uncles, Urban and Marshall Simeon; maternal grandparents, Adam and Flora Poucette whom he was raised by due to medical reasons; paternal grandparents, Edna and Charlie Simeon Sr.; most recently, cousin Myrtis Mark, and all other family & friends that have gone on before him. 

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Norma Poucette (Morley, AB) on Thursday, November 5, and Friday, November 6, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at the residence of Norma Poucette (Morley, AB).
