Obituary of Victor Mancera ALCAZAR

April 12, 1922 – Legazpi, Philippines January 15, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Victor, beloved husband of Lolita Alcazar (nee Silo) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the age of 95 years. He was born in Legazpi, Philippines. Victor immigrated to Canada in 1979. Before coming to Canada, he held a position as a Chief Auditor in the management department with the Department of Public Works, Transportation and Communications. He was a Certified Public Accountant. He was active in his church and the Calgary Filipino Seniors Group. He retired in 1987 from the Calgary Courthouse (Boiler Maintenance Dept.) Besides his wife of seventy years, Lolita Alcazar, Victor is survived by his children, Gerardo, Ruben (Merlinda), Victoria Gahm (Uwe), Danilo (Ana), Gloria Aquino (Manuel), Dolores Aquino (Manolo), nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 6:00p.m to 9:00p.m Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W., Calgary, AB) on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Family requested a private graveside service.
