Nov 27th, Geoff's mischievous smile greeted us on the Obituary page of the Herald. Oh dear, another friend gone. As we await our turn, here we are buttoned down at home since February, not even able to say that final goodbye.
Geoff and I both had good times at the "Bridge" together. The end was ignominious but we could take satisfaction in work well done. "Well done thou faithful servant," comes to mind although I don't remember either of you bending low to authority.
Our thoughts are with you at this sad time Joan. Please keep in touch, we are always here on the end of this 'ere wire.
