Condolences
On behalf of all of us at Aviva Calgary Branch, our deepest sympathies to Sue and family who are mourning this wonderful woman. Her generous nature and talented knitting made a difference in many lives through the charities she supported. May she rest in peace.
You can't beat an infectious laugh. That is my fondest memory of my Aunt. A sweet lady from Yorkshire, I always enjoyed going to visit Grandma Crawley and Auntie Joan and Sue, Mike, and Julie at 68 Hooke Road. I'll never forget that place. Always full of funny stories and laughs and loves and hugs. What a legacy to leave behind. Loving and laughing. Never seems to make sense why we have to lose such good people. You'll be missed Joan.
XOXO

Such a wonderful lady, Auntie Joan will be sadly missed but some wonderful memories xxx. Thinking of you all
I met Joan (mom) 44 years ago when becoming best friends with Julie. I gained a whole new family and Joan was always welcoming with open arms and oh that beautiful smile she had.
I feel very blessed to have been a part of her life. My heart goes out to Sue, Mike and of course my best friend in this whole world Julie and her son (grandson) Justin. We know you will be watching over us all Joan and please know you are loved so very deeply. You touched so many hearts.

I lost my Mom almost 14 years ago. Joan was like a mother to me with her kind and loving heart and one of the most beautiful people I knew.
May the angels guide your soul through the stars to Heaven and find a peaceful rest. I loved you Joan and I will miss you dearly.

Mum was my best Friend and I will miss her dearly. I will also miss our weekly shopping trips to get a latte and groceries, and I will miss texting her every day and night just to say hi and share some of my day with her. It was hard to see her go into the Hospice, but it was the best decision for her/us at the time. Dulcina Hospice staff took excellent care of her and she was never in any pain due to their care and diligence so we thank you for that <3 I asked Mum before she passed to come say hi once in a while if she could just to let us know she was ok. I have seen huge signs in the past after someone passes so I will let you know if that happens with Joan. <3 Mum was a beautiful, caring, giving Soul and everyday I strive to be just like her. LOVE YOU MUM XOXOXOXOXOXOX -Mick
So sorry to say goodbye to Joan. She had been a dear sister in law and friend since 1968.
She was a kind, sincere, loving person, with a wonderful sense of humor ,and our friendship endured till the very end.
You’ll be missed Joan. I loved you dearly. Maureen Crawley
