Obituary of Constance Alice CRAIG

September 30, 1933 – Calgary, Alberta January 7, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Connie beloved wife of the late William Hugh Craig of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Connie was employed for many years with the Calgary Board of Education as a Library Assistant and later as a Teacher’s Aide, retiring in 1994. Connie was an avid reader – she was never without a book from the Southwood library and she passed this love of reading on to her granddaughter. Never a day passed without a crossword being completed. Connie brought kindness, light and love and always thought the best of everyone. She was a beloved Aunt to both the Edwards and Craig families. Through supporting her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, Connie developed a love for hockey, baseball and basketball and became an avid fan of the Raptors. Connie welcomed everyone into her home and made them all feel like family. Connie is survived by her four children and their spouses, Billy and Linda, Darrell and Laurie, Karen and Craig and Michael and May; her two grandchildren, Gianna Craig and Dylan Pfenning; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Connie was predeceased by her loving husband Bill Craig and her siblings, Helen Lazelle, Alan Edwards, Winnifred Marlow, Audrey Brewer and Marion Driol.
