Obituary of Mahlon JOHNSON

July 11, 1942 - Sherridon, Manitoba
December 17, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mahlon (Mel) Johnson, beloved husband of Carol Johnson (nee Blumberg)  of  Calgary, AB. He passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the age of 78 years. 

Mel was born in Sherridon, MB and was raised in Lyne Lake, MB. His love for the North, fishing, hunting, and smoking fish was always a big part of his life. 

After settling in Calgary he enjoyed a lengthy career owning a residential construction business.

Mel is survived by his loving wife Carol; his daughters, Kim, Rhonda (Rob), and stepdaughter Debbie (Neil); ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, his sister Debra and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Lloyd and Randy; and his parents Maynard and Ida.
