Obituary of Albert Edward INGLETON

December 16, 1934 – Hebburn, England
December 19, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Albert (Al) Ingleton of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the age of 86 years.

Al was born in Hebburn, England on December 16, 1934 and immigrated with his family to Canada in 1969.

Al worked for TransAlta Utilities for many years, retiring in 1993.  He was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion 285 and was a former member of the RAF. 
 
Al enjoyed sports, particularly soccer. He was an avid supporter of Newcastle United FC.   He loved watching hockey.  

Al is survived by his wife Helen, who he married in 1995.  He has two daughters (his girls) and one son-in-law, Adrienne Elizabeth Ingleton of Calgary and Alison Patricia (Bruce) Munro of Claresholm; four grandchildren, Taylor Neil Ingleton, Rachel Lynn Silver, Nicole Margaret Silver, and Louise Elizabeth (Jason) Clark, and five great-grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Lanigan, Caine Gregory Lanigan, Eve Elizabeth Clark, Connor James Philip Clark, and Aria Grace Margaret Clark. 
 
Al was predeceased by his parents, Gladys (nee Sangster) and Albert Edward Ingleton of England; and his brothers, William (Phyllis) Ingleton, and Alan (Norma) Ingleton.
