Condolences
We, Tom Trenholme and Susan (Sinclair) Morton, are friends from Dougie's past in Montreal and Knowlton.
We shared summer memories with him and the Cageorge/Beggs family. We are sorry to hear of his passing.
Glen and I were so sad to hear of Doug's passing. We knew Doug was having health problems but hoped he may have more time. Glen golfed with Doug at Silver Springs Golf and Country Club but when Doug met Glenda and Glenda moved to Calgary, we became very good couple friends. We enjoyed sharing meals at our homes, or even better, Doug's favorite, meeting at Buon Giorno's for Italian. So many happy times that we can now remember. Glenda our thoughts and prayers are with you and do take comfort knowing you made Doug very happy.
My thoughts are with you , Glenda and with all of Doug's family.
I have many memories of Doug, having golfed with him almost every week of the summer for the past 40 years.
We had great times over that period, both on and off the course.
Doug had a swing that was the envy of all in our group of 12+. He was passionate about golf and continuously improving.
For a while his putting held him back ( we gave him the nickname of Three Putt), but he overcame even that , which led to him winning many weekend games among the boys , and several tournaments, even near the end when his health was unfortunately deteriorating so quickly,
I will always remember you Doug - RIP
We were very sad to hear of Doug's passing. Doug was a very special friend, business partner and all round great guy. We have lost a true gentleman. Condolences to Glenda and family for your loss. Regards, Lynn & Laurie Harvey
We send our sympathies to the family and are so sad and sorry for the loss of our friend Doug. We will miss Doug's unique and wonderful sense of humor and the stories of his many golf escapades. We enjoyed so many laughs and wonderful meals with Doug and Glenda and are so happy to have those memories. We will miss you Doug. Joann + Rick Fennell, Kelowna BC + Surprise Az
