Obituary of Germaine Theresa GERMAN (nee Hoefle)

December 23, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Germaine Theresa German, beloved wife of the late Neil  Victor German, passed away peacefully  in Calgary, Alberta on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the age of 90 years.

Born July 10th, 1930 in Riviere Qui Barre, Alberta, to Joseph and Mildred Hoefle, she was the youngest of five children.  
 
Left to mourn are her three sons, Michael (Bev) Adamson, Peter Adamson and Richard (Grace) Adamson; step-children, Heather (Murray) Stewart, Wendy (Frank) Valair and Garry (Mary) German; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren she was extremely proud of. She was predeceased by her parents; siblings, Bonnie (Bill) Miller, Ken (Evelyn) Hoefle, Grant (Vickie) Hoefle and Betty (Bill) Ainsworth; and Ron Adamson, her husband by a previous marriage.

Due to current Covid19 restrictions no memorial service will be held at this time.
 
The family send special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at the Salvation Army Agape Hospice where Germaine spent her last few months.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Neil V. German, Q.C. Memorial Scholarship, Faculty of Law, care of the Governors of the University of Calgary, Salvation Army, or World Vision Canada.
