Obituary of Raymond Anthony METCALFE

January 18, 1947 – Montreal, Quebec January 2, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray Metcalfe, beloved husband of Diana Metcalfe (nee Grantham) of Calgary, AB, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the age of 70 years after a courageous ten year battle with cancer. Ray was a best friend, loving husband, amazing father, and grandfather. He will always be remembered for his strength, sense of humour, and positive attitude. He truly was our hero, and an inspiration to others. Ray will be greatly missed by his wife of forty years Diana, his daughters Kelly (Robert) and Tara (Clinton), grandson Brody, and brother Brian. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Iona, and by his brother Bert. A celebration to honour Ray’s life will be held at a later date.
