Michael Lyons Barata of Calgary, AB, entered Heaven on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the age of 21 years.

Michael was born in Calgary, AB on December 24, 1998.

He is survived by his father Edgar, mother Cheryl, sister Karley, brother-in-law Matthew, nephew Carter, niece Eva and grandmother Maria as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins. He will also be lovingly remembered by countless friends of whom he loved dearly.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew him, and always remembered for his thoughtfulness, kindness, caring that he showed to everyone around him. Michael was taken too soon in life as he had many dreams and goals he wished to fulfill. He will always be remembered, sorely missed and forever loved.
