Obituary of Beatrice Joan BRAYSHAW (nee Campbell)

December 26, 1938 – Edmonton, Alberta

January 1, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Beatrice Joan Brayshaw passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 82 years.

Beatrice was a homemaker for several years, and then went to work outside the home. Every person whose life she touched in one way or another loved her personality and her kindness. She never expected anything in return, and was always there to listen and help others: Whether it was human or animal, no one was turned away.

Mom had a creative side: She wrote poetry, loved to sketch and had a beautiful singing voice.

To Mom her greatest joy was her children. She taught us so much throughout our lives, which we will carry with us always. Mom was a strong woman and overcame many hardships throughout her life, but she was always able to be positive.

From all of your children and grandsons, you will always live on in our hearts and memories. You will be missed by all.

Beatrice leaves behind her five children, Wanda, Deanna, Curtis (Crystal), Marnie (Brian), and Terry Wright; as well as two grandsons, Jason Anderson and Kyle Brayshaw. She is also survived by her sister Verline Dyck, her nieces, Lauren and Susan and their children.

Beatrice was predeceased by her husband of forty-two years, Glenn Brayshaw, her second oldest daughter, Candace Violet Brayshaw, her parents, Gordon and Joan Campbell; her brother William Gordon Campbell; and sons-in-law Jack and Terry.

At Beatrice’s request no funeral services will be held.
