Condolences
Dr baylie was my dentist when I was a kid until I was 19 I’ll miss you Dr baylie Meghan Rempel
I am so saddened to see this...truth be told, I was talking to my dental hygienist about Dr. Steve just this morning. Dr. Steve was my kids' dentist from the time they were 3years till they 'graduated'. We went away overseas for 5 years and when we came home, I made sure to schedule their semi-annual visit to their dentist. He saw them through the removal of their wisdom teeth, braces, palate expanders.
I knew Dr. Steve had retired and I was going to look up the practice because my daughter in law wanted Dr. Steve's name...they now have a 1 year old only to find this very sad news.
Our sincerest condolences.. he was such a wonderful wonderful man and we are all very blessed to have known him. It is such a loss.
I would like to extend my deepest condolences for your loss. I was saddened to hear about Dr. Baylin. Dr. Steve was an exceptional pediatric dentist. Both my daughters from three to eighteen years of age attended his clinic in Marda Loop. It was a sad day for us on our last visit. Dr. Steve provided my daughters with a positive dental experience which I am most grateful for. He was a good listener, always cheerful with a calm demeanour and he loved to laugh. We won’t forget Dr. Steve. He leaves a wonderful legacy behind.
Hi Debbie and Melissa -
Donna and I offer sincere condolences at the loss of Steven.
Throughout the long tenure of our our Temple affiliation, Steve was a friendly face and source of warm conversation. He always showed interest in us and our family. We served on the Temple Board together, and he was dentist to our three children.
Over the years Steven's smile and congenial nature never diminished.
His early passing is a reminder to us all to live life to the fullest, and to be the best you can be every day.
Love,
Jack and Donna Newton, and Sarah, Tobiah and Jenna
My deepest sympathies on the loss of such an amazing person. Dr.Baylin was my dentist from the age of 5 to 15, then my sons dentist. He wasn't taking on new patients at the time, but made the exception. I will always remember his smile and how genuine he was with his patients. You could always tell that he loved life and the people that trusted him with their smiles. I know I am a better health care provider because of the compassion he showed for his patients.
I wish Debbie and Melissa tender comfort and clear memories of wonderful lives shared. Steve was a charming welcoming host to me and many friends visiting. His love for nature and things alpine, and sharing them a gift. Michael Hoffman Vermont & Marblehead
Our hearts and thoughts are with you,Debbie and Melissa. We know how much Steve loved you and how proud he was of you both. Whether it was in the office as he worked on Kyley’s teeth, in the store where he was outfitting the family with ski gear for the season, on the hill greeting riders at Nakiska or just a happy encounter on the street Steve always had a smile, a twinkle in his eye and a big hug that just made you happy to see him. He lived life to the fullest and he exuded a joy that he shared with all around him. He was a gift and we will miss him. Take care and go gently as you adjust.
Much love, Jean and Kyley Hunt

My sincerest condolences on your loss. I was a patient of Dr. Baylin's from the age of five until the time that I had to ask Dr. Baylin if I should start seeing an "adult" dentist, probably around the age of 17! I remember him telling me that he wasn't going to kick me out and that it was up to me. A few years, I was able to reconnect with Dr. Baylin every Saturday at Nakiska. He could not be missed with his infectious smile and with his red ski jacket with the massive pins that read, "ASK ME". After I sent my kids off to their ski team, I would go look for Dr. Baylin every week to chat and he would always let me know what conditions to expect on the hill, what Debbie had planned for dinner, and was always super sweet with my family. The past few years have not been the same at the hill without Dr. Baylin and he will be greatly missed.
My dear Debbie & Melissa how saddened I was to hear of Steve’s passing. He was such an incredible person who brought sunshine wherever he went and whomever he was around. I always loved our little visits when he came to see Brian at the office.
I must say, he certainly lived his shortened life to the fullest. His passion for photography and the outdoors was certainly known.
You will miss him terribly but I know you have a strong family and community to help you along the way. God bless you all.
David and I are so very sorry for your loss. We did not know Steve well but we did know that he was a lovely, generous and kind man. We are thinking of the family in this difficult time.
Dear Debbie and Melissa,
We were so sorry to hear about Steve. I (Dina, Ethel's daughter) am a first cousin, living now in Ontario, but formerly a Montrealer. I have a lot of happy childhood memories of times spent with Steve and the family. He will be missed.
Our sincere condolences, Dina and Benjy Dolansky

I just heard of Stephen's passing. He was my cousin and came to visit us in California when he was in his 20's. He was loving, fun, smart and had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a smile that would light up the room. He made a very big impact on me in a short period of time. My most heartfelt condolences to all of my Canadian family, especially his wife and daughter. Sending much love and big hugs. May his memory be a blessing.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Baylin. As a patient of his right into my early twenties, his kindness and passion were evident at every visit. I was speaking of him to my daughters just last week - the impact he had on me was immense.
Sincerest condolences to his wife and Melissa.

Dear Debbie and Melissa,
We are sad to hear of the passing of your beloved Steve. We are so happy that you had enjoyable retirement years in Canmore. We loved having you as our dear neighbours for many years in Oakridge. Our condolences and hugs to you and your family.

Debbie and Melissa,
Our whole family shares the loss of a tremendous guy. Steve was not only a friend to our family but also the most wonderful and gifted practitioner anyone could ever have hoped for. We are reminded of his warmth and humour whenever we drive by your old house on Oakwood Drive. A permanent memory of Steve's photographic talent is with us every day through a beautiful framed photo of the mountains that he gave us a number of years ago.
