Obituary of Bradley Josh Valentino BLACK HORSE


February 14, 1990 - Strathmore, Alberta          
January 5, 2021 – Siksika Nation, Alberta

It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Bradley Josh Valentino of Siksika Nation on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the age of 30 years.

Bradley made his cursillo in Siksika on April 30 to May 3, 2015 his theme was “Help Is on the Way.”

Bradley was a very kind, gentle and caring guy; with a big sense of humour and he loved his family very much; always mentioned them in every way.  His smile would always light up the room and put a smile on your face; his laughter brightened up your spirits regardless how you felt.  

Bradley had a big heart, especially for those who knew him as Baby Brad.

Bradley received his education in Siksika and took a trades course on Roofing through Employment and Training.  He resided in Calgary and Siksika with the love of his life, Alisha and with his momma Debbie.

Bradley will be lovingly remembered by his babe, Alisha Knearing and will be dearly missed by his momma Debbie Yellowfly; brothers Keivin, and Brennan; sister Shyla, special nieces Dayla and Dayzie. As well as nieces Keira, Phenix, Selena, and Choyce; nephews Brannon, and Darion. He will be lovingly remembered by his aunts:  Floria Duck Chief, Joy, Polly, Effie, Sally, Marisa (Dan), Delphine, and Della (Jerome), and uncles  Eugene Yellowfly, and Leonard (Rhoda) Black Horse;  grandpa Noel Yellowfly,  great-aunt Virginia Medicine Traveller and great-uncle Tom Crane Bear.

He was predeceased by his father Brad Black Horse; grandparents, Marina Yellowfly, Leonard and Marina Blackhorse

Funeral Services:  St. John the Divine Anglican Church with Rev. Larry Water Chief on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.  followed by burial at  Paul Little Walker Cemetery–Siksika Nation

Drive by pick up lunch at residence of Debbie Yellowfly.

Family extend their appreciation to all that assisted with food and making arrangements on behalf of our loving Bradley. God Bless you all.
