Rob - So sorry that we cannot be there with you during this difficult time - thinking of you. Gloria
I first met Marilyn in 1987 at a base Christmas Party we instantly became friends. Marilyn and I also worked at Boston Pizza on Richmond Road in 1988. Every payday while my husband and Rob were away during their time in the military, I would pick her up take her to the bank then for groceries. Marilyn was always gracious by treating me to lunch. When I had my first son in 1992 Marilyn would come to his appointments with me. I moved away for 4 years to Nova scotia then to Edmonton for another 4 years. We kept in contact and when I came back to Calgary her and Rob would take my kids for a night, they both were so good to my kids. I cannot say enough about this sweet lady. Over the years we lost touch but she has never been far from my thoughts I cherish everyday I got to spend with this wonderful lady. I was able to see Marilyn early December in hospice. I will hold her in my heart always, I am proud to say "she was my friend".
